OnTask has been accepted into the Apereo Foundation Incubation Process. Apereo is a network of institutions which ‘share experiences, learn from the experience from others, and discover new collaborators’. The Apereo Incubation Process provides scaffolding and effective mentoring for the formation of new projects, software communities and communities of interest through their critical formative stages.
This is an important milestone for the project as it gives OnTask the opportunity to increase its presence in the open source community and improve its structure and dissemination capabilities. The expanded interest facilitated by the Incubation process will help guarantee OnTask’s sustainability beyond the existing OLT funded project timeframe.
Prof Abelardo Pardo will be presenting ‘OnTask: ‘Facilitating Feedback at scale though personalised support actions’ at the upcoming Open Apereo 2018 Conference in Montreal in June.
